The Water Workshop for Apartment Communities

Bangalore city is running out of water.

Bangalore gets its water from a source 95 KM away and at an elevation of 300 meters.
Every drop of water has to be pumped up and 80 MW of energy is used up in doing so.

As a supplement the city has sunk over 4 lakh bore wells. The borewells go to a depth of 1250 feet in some cases and the groundwater is being sucked dry.

Tankers ply the city with very little water check. They get costlier by the year as their supply too comes from groundwater.

Surface water bodies like tanks are disappearing at a fast pace. Those that remain are full of dirty water.

Waste water is barely collected. It flows in drainage channels meant to collect storm-water only.
