The storage of your data is in a Top Tier Data Center with the Hosting Platform providing a Virtual Private Server to ApartmentADDA.

Finally, the Terms of Service of ApartmentADDA states without any ambiguity - We do not sell, rent or otherwise make available your email address, phone number, address, or any other personal information to any third-party for any reason whatsoever. 

ApartmentADDA provides complete Accounting Package for a typical Housing Society. Income, Expenses, Taxes, General Ledger, Balance Sheet, Income & Expense Report are available. The Accounting Module is integrated seamlessly with the Member Database - so reminders through email, SMS as well as E-Receipts can be sent to the residents. You can generate & publish various reports like Cash Flow Report, Expense Trends etc.

Yes, all relevant data present in your specific ADDA can be exported anytime. This includes the Residents' List, Vendors' List, HelpDesk Tickets, Projects, Income Line Items, Expense Line Items, all Accounting Journal Entries, and Documents.

Following the Privacy Policy of ApartmentADDA, Residents' phone number are not part of the Residents' List export. Export of Residents' List with Phone Numbers can be enabled by ApartmentADDA on need basis, after receiving written official communication from you.

Yes, the typical route of switching is from Basic ADDA (Free of Cost, limited features) to Premium ADDA (Annual Subscription, all features). ApartmentADDA executes a Commercial Agreement with you and the access to Premium features open up.

If you need to switch back from Premium ADDA to Basic ADDA for any reason, we assist you with the same. You will have sufficient time to export the relevant data from the Premium features, before the access to premium features is discontinued. You can then continue on the Basic ADDA.

An ADDA, pronounced as "Uhd-da" is a Bengali word that is defined in the Oxford English Dictionary as:

"An Intellectual Exchange between People from the same Socio-Economic background."

So when we started to create the software, we thought, where do you find people from the same Socio-Economic Background, if not in an Apartment Complex, or a Villa Complex!

Hence, ADDA.

ADDA became the name of each portal private to an Apartment Complex. As of writing this FAQ there are 800+ ADDAs, each bustling with Intellectual Exchanges (okay let's not dwell too much on the occasional fist fights).

It is also a great relationship starter. Recently the Treasurer of a High-End Mumbai society signed the subscription agreement and chuckled "Ab tak tho hum high society thhe, abhi aapne humko ADDA bana diya.." :)

Why it is all CAPS? Because the creative folks at our graphics shop designed it that way and we fell in love with it.

On the Home page, click on the "Login" button. On the following page, enter the email-id with which you are registered, enter your password and click on "Login" button.

After logging in, click on the "My Profile" page on topmost Menu. On the resulting screen, click on the "Account" tab.  You can find the "Change Password" button here.

Welcome to your ADDA! These are the steps you could follow:

1. Familiarize yourself with the Resident's Dashboard. All information you need about your Complex is here. Check out the "Public ADDA" link on the topmost Menu. Public ADDA is the public facing Website of your Complex.

2. Complete your profile. Click on 'My Profile' on the topmost Menu, and ensure your Mobile Number available here is correct. You will be able to receive important SMS broadcast from your Management Committee. Upload a picture of yours, fill in your Vehicle Information, and fill the other blank spaces  -your Intercom number, hobbies, occupation, website etc.

3. Post a message in the Forum letting people know that you are ON!

Welcome to your sparkling new ADDA! Here are the recommended first steps:

1. Set up your ADDA's profile - this is the page outsiders will see.
Go to "Admin Dashboard" on the  yellow menu bar. Here you will find 'Setup ADDA Profile'.

2. You can get the Residents' Dashboard ready with information that you want to welcome your first users with. For example, you can upload existing documents to the Document Repository, populate Vendor List, post a forum post that encourages discussion (the most popular one being 'your favorite eat-out' :) ).

3. Add other residents, give Admin rights as required. Use the 'Manage Users' widget for this. Please see FAQ > Admin Tools, you will find many tips for 'Manage Users'.

Note: The Vehicle Information is common for a Unit (Flat/Villa).

Yes. ApartmentADDA has Single Sign-On available. Just ensure you register for both Apartment Complexes using the same email-id.

After logging in, on the Resident's Dashboard, you will find a drop down on the rightmost frame, to toggle between the two ADDAs!
